Roads of Flowers

Inspired by the author, Masahito Kawashima, this project borrows the name of his book, Road of Flowers. We people are like wild bees. Each of us works in his or her own hive, or country. Each perceives the problems of the world as abstractions. Each follows his or her own "road of flowers."

These personal roads or paths offer a way forward to millions searching for peace and harmony—often since childhood. Photographs or paintings can symbolize such personal roads or paths, guiding us through life.

In this project, their personal roads are expressed in the images of 35 photographers and artists from 17 countries. Their amazing works are presented in the alphabetical order (in English) of their countries, from Australia to the United States.

This project was conceived and organized by two friends:

Dmitry Vladimirovich Krasiuk from Ukraine and Sylvie D from Canada.

The Roads of Flowers project was released on February 9. The first time we encountered a problem, the project was censored. To solve this problem, Vanessa offered us to remove three of her works. We did so with great disappointment. Despite this, the project remained with the message, "This project contains adult content." Many were disappointed by such censorship. We decided to try to clone the project, republish "Roads of Flowers," and then delete the first version. So on February 9, at some point, everyone had two "Roads of Flowers" projects. The first draft was made private before we deleted it, because we wanted to make sure the second draft didn't have censorship issues. An hour later, the first project was deleted.

Our sincere apologies to everyone. Thank you for your understanding and for your kind participation, your works are Amazing.

Since February 9, I don't have the ability to send messages and I have been unable to explain to all the co-owners why the first draft was deleted. Dmitry and I did not exclude anyone from the project, we just republished Roads of Flowers. I sent out a second invitation to everyone. - Sylvie
